Peter Konzel is a seasoned intellectual property attorney who has experience in patent reexaminations, reissues and litigation, as well as due diligence analysis in connection with mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Konzel has extensive patent prosecution experience with mechanical and electromechanical devices; chemicals and chemical processes; communications processes and devices; and genes, genetically modified organisms, and gene expression. Mr. Konzel earned his undergraduate degree in biology from SUNY at Geneseo, and attended law school at the University at Buffalo School of Law.
Mr. Konzel is a veteran of the U.S. Army and was awarded both the Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal for his service during the Persian Gulf War (1990-1991).
In his spare time, Mr. Konzel enjoys time with his family and kayaking, hiking, and biking.
